It is now one of the largest video streaming services in the US, with more than 5.2 billion subscribers, and a market cap of $13 billion.
The company recently reported revenue of $1.3 billion for the fiscal year that ended March 31, 2019, up from $860 million for the same period last year.
Aal also recently launched a new streaming video service called Vudu.
“Vudu is the largest subscription video streaming service in the world, with over 2.5 billion monthly subscribers,” a company spokesperson told TheWrap.
“It provides customers the chance to stream their favorite content, with unlimited video, audio and metadata, for a very low monthly fee.
Customers can watch over 1,000 million hours of video every month, and they can also enjoy over 1.2 million live events a year, with Vudus curated content curated by leading video producers and influencers.”
The company also recently announced a new digital music service called Spotify, which will offer music by artists like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé as well as curated playlists curated by other artists.
